Story Behind The Song
Wrote this song back in the late 90s..I just loved the song "grandma got run over by a reindeer" So I wanted to create a classic weird Christmas song that would be played on the radio every year. I was also into Aliens...and U.F.O sightings at the time so naturally that's where I went.
Song Description
An Alien drops off some gifts instead of Santa Claus. The alien is then spotted by dad. So dad decides to sing about it, but the men in black and F.B.I try to cover it all up.

It was a silent night Christmas Eve
the cat the dog and the whole family
Had just settled in for a good nights sleep.
When out from the den arose such a clatter
I knew right then that it must be Santa
so I ran downstairs to see what I could see.

as the presents levitated beside the tree.
I flipped the lights for a better view
and then I saw a little gray man in a Santa suit.
Something came down my chimney Christmas Eve
and I don't think it was Santa he looked a lot more like ET
it was the night before Christmas encounter.
Well then he turned with a jerk and went back to his deed
telling me why telepathically
he was helping out Santa with his deliveries
and then up through the chimney he rose in a flash
I ran straight for my kitchen threw my eggnog in the trash
I'm not touching the stuff no more drinking for me.
That's what I said until they came to my home
two fed suits with sunglasses on
to say anything would be unwise
