Story Behind The Song
Driving home through Little Rock I managed to take a wrong turn on the interstate. I said to myself, "great, I'm lost in Little Rock." For the rest of the drive to Mississippi I entertained myself writing this song.

Lyrics
Headed east to Mississippi, on the road from Oklahoma
With the help of your directions, might as well be North Dakota
Every turn a new adventure, as I yearn for your direction
When I hear you call a street name, it turns out all wrong.
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
And these streets and highways look all wrong
My GPS, it's blinking off and on
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
May be headed for disaster, but I keep on driving faster
I've been looking for the highway, think I just went through a pasture
Holy Spirit, won't you guide me in my thoughts and in my driving
If you get me safely through this I'll never leave home again
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
And these streets and highways look all wrong
My GPS, it's blinking off and on
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
And these streets and highways look all wrong
My GPS, it isn't even on
I've been lost in Little Rock far too long
