Story Behind The Song

This song was written in response to a sermon preached on Genesis 15, on Abram's covenant with God. "He took him outside and said, "Look up at the sky and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." The lyrics have been revised somewhat since this was first recorded.

Trusting in the Lord to lead us there and back again
Never underestimating God's perfect plan
