Story Behind The Song

During an 18 month period, I lost 2 close family members and 3 very dear, long-time friends... I wrote this song to release my thoughts and feelings and deal with the loses, but still wanted to show my love and hope for them....

Song Description

This is a song about a sudden passing of a loved one. The first verse lays out the storyline of how someone's passing does not allow a chance "to say good-bye".... and how haunting that can be. Moreover, GRIEF is the most powerful emotion especially when you lose a love of your soul-mate, family member or great friend. This is a tough topic to address and write a song about because of all the "moving parts" in events like this that happen everyday and surprise us all when an even like this transpires. As a resolution, I wanted to insert a strong dose of HOPE and that LOVE can transcend time and life-and-death.
