Story Behind The Song

This song has had a unique journey. It was inspired by a dream I had about my father when I was sleeping in the Tee Pee Motel in AZ while I was on hitch-hiking journey from Oklahoma to Laurel Canyon, & Huntington Beach in LA back, many, many years ago. It was a very vivid and short dream, but it stayed with me. A few years later, I used the experience to frame this song. It was unfinished for several years. Then I did some demos of it....and this is the final band mix finished in September, 2024
