We From Da A!

Story Behind The Song

As I stated in the long discription, this story takes you on a journey through the ghetto fabulous streets of Atlanta, Ga. You will here of the fast money making schemes in addition to the fancy whips that the players and pimps stroll through the hot streets of the Dirty South all day. It's a happy pimp song that makes you want to sing along about the good life in Atlanta. SirTay (Corey Thomas) even tells of how some of the young ladies in the A get that fast money working their magic at the strip tease establishments. Very interesting song that will work very well during the spring or summer months. Great on a sunny day while riding out in a clean ride!

Song Description

This song's rap lyrics were written by Corey Thomas who just so happens to live what we talks about. He doesn't believe in writting things that don't happen in his life. He is out on the streets dealing in street dealings and decides to talk about in in this song. He tells of all the reasons why someone would want to move to the A and stay. I wrote the chorus before he wrote the lyrics in order to push the mood of the song in a certain direction. I simply wrote about the A from my perspective in the chorus. For example, all the girls do come around when we put on a show here, no matter the venue. So we are talking about real life in the A that others will be able to relate to because either they have been in our situation or know someone who has. The key to a songs succes is one being able to connect to the story line.

Born and raised in the A. Decatur where I stay. Like a ball your girl gone bounce my way. If I hit it one time I guarantee she go stay. That?s the way we put it down in the land of the A. We grind every day, shine every day, get brained out while we ride everyday. See the paint flip, make the haters wanna trip. But we ain?t trippin on them haters. They just don?t know how to stack chips. If we gone trip, gone head and let it rip. We ain?t never scared like Bone Crusher Trick. Might be gone of Yac, might be gone of perk. Let dat pill kick in, mouthpiece go to work. Now we on a serious mission for a chick we can twerk. Gon say anything till we under that skirt. So fresh, so clean cause we moving all the work. Got our girls on lock. It don?t matter let ?em flirt.

Chorus

3rd Verse
Chevys on 24s. Lac trucks on 24s. Old schools on 24s. What you stuntin hard for. Hit any street in the A and you will see a car show. Even our ladies in the A know how to get dat dough. On the poles in da club droppin it down to the floor. Tellin lies in your ear. There your bank role go. Like a pro, I know. I done mastered the game. In the streets everywhere, I ain?t never been lame. And your dame I?ll tame. Ain?t a damn thang changed. I?m ridiculous with this pimpin nigga I know just how to get it. Now let me get it. If I say something to her she gone be wit it. And if I want to hit it, she?ll probably let me hit it. Now we off to the club where they keeping it crunk. Ridin down 20 lane to lane bumpin the trunk. Grippin the wheel so tight cause I?m probably drunk. Money stuffed in my pockets. Pockets probably humped.
