Story Behind The Song
Initially written as a response to some incidents in San Antonio, TX, which had resulted in low morale in our city. Then Police Chief, Al Phillipus, was searching for a song that could somehow unite our community. "I See Tomorrow" became that song. The lyric emphasized how each member of our community could make a positive impact/difference in our city.

I SEE TOMORROW
WORDS: LAURA, EDDIE & JACOB CAVAZOS
MUSIC: EDDIE CAVAZOS
Verse 1
I see tomorrow as a time of peace, oh can you see it.
I see tomorrow when violence will cease, believe it.
I see tomorrow, it's not too far away, I know...oh no.
Verse 2
I see tomorrow when you like me, though we disagree.
I see tomorrow when we are free to be, no need to worry.
I see tomorrow, it's not too far away, I know.
Chorus
We need to stand tall, side by side, unite and not divide.
So I can see, so you can see tomorrow.
We need to pass the flame of hope and know we're not alone.
So I can see, so you can see tomorrow.
Verse 3
I see tomorrow when we will dare to care for one another.
I see tomorrow when tears of fear turn into laughter.
I see tomorrow, it's not too far away, I know. (To Chorus)
Bridge
No, no, no, no it's not too far away.
Don't give it up, it's not too late.
No, no, no, no we cannot hesitate.
Let's hurry up, we cannot wait. (To Chorus)
