Story Behind The Song

After having been let down by a few people that had made promises that were not fulfilled. I started out of frustration writing this song and then looked more generally at the subject top complete the song.

Song Description

A look into the lives of modern society today... the idea for this song comes from people's insecurities; in particular people portraying a fantastic life on social media when in reality their actual lives do not live up to their expectations, depicted by the line "walking on water but bursting into flame".
