Let's just say that as I wrote this song, I was experiencing realizations that in every moment I could always feel my own love, even when I was sad or down. And that feeling my own love helped the pain and heartache flow out of my heart. That exquisite moment when pain and love exist at the same time... that is when healing takes place. The love in you embraces the pain - and you can let go.

Song Description

We are taught that we find love in another person. That love comes from outside of us. That we are "given" love. The truth is, that while that love from another is a beautiful thing, if we don't have our own love, we won't feel their love. This song is the story of letting go of the pain and troubles that keep you a prisoner inside your own heart so you can begin to experience your own love.
