Story Behind The Song
My father-in-law was in the hospital after heart surgery. Things did not go well, and while he was in the hospital room, we noticed that he kept looking up at the ceiling. We asked him what he was looking at and he whispered, a bird. We asked what type of bird. He whispered again, an Owl. Unfortunately, he left us a few days later. This was written with him in our hearts knowing the Owl watches over him.
