Lyrics
These Are My Memories
I've got a big walk-in closet
I can't use because it
Is full of my memories
Old dolls and toys
From the girls and the boy
I used to bounce on my knee
Boxes of treasures that can't be replaced
And each one brings a smile to my face
You can call me crazy
But these are my memories
Just some of my favorite
pages from the past
A few precious moments I will hold onto
As long as they will last
When the kids are all grown
And out of our home
And that blue moon shines down through the trees
When this house feels so empty
And the loneliness hits me
I'll have my closet of dreams
You always said I should throw it all away
But you'll be glad that I saved it one day
It's more than just things
These are my memories
Just some of my favorite
pages from the past
A few precious moments I will hold onto
As long as they will last
In my big walk-in closet
I can't use because it
Is full of my memories
