This is really good!! The song is energetic, catchy with really strong lyrics, a great hook, a great arrangement (and players). Vocal is TOPS!!! (one of the best I've heard on this site). Amazing job with everything!!

Oh wow, what a tightly crafted song. Tells such a real story...the girl who's "still looking" in the bars and the personal ads and finally has one on the line. Singer urges her, "Take a chance". I love the "I hear he can cook and he can dance." GREAT lyric writing. This writer knows "word economy". How to say a lot simply and really get the point across. The hook is impeccable. I just love the whole song. If it's a true story, I'd like to hear how it turned out. The instrumentation is oh so perfect...loved the fiddle especially. Crystal clear vocals and terrific performance. Favorite lyric: Engraved invite to an open door. Wow. 10 stars!

This is a fun song. A happy sound. Nice arrangement with the fiddle adding to the joyous sound. The lead vocal is strong, selling the sentiment of the song effectively. I like the middle verse, too. It's a universal sentiment - encouraging a friend to take a chance in life.
