Lyrics
VANYA
Vanya they cut short your stay
But they could not take your life away
For you'd already laid it down
Before the One who had promised you a crown
God bless you Vanya
And as you stood there in the snow
Dressed only in your summer clothes
Your captores could not feel the fire
Or see the flame that warmed you through the nights
God blessed you Vanya
And Oh I believe in miracles
Miracles still survive
Oh in this day we're skeptical
But miracles still survive
Oh don't they Vanya
The soldiers sealed up your remains
We felt the loss but you the gain
For we're all pilgrims this we know
Refugees of a world that's lost it's soul
And oh I believe in miracles
'Cause God is still alive
Oh in this day we're skeptical
But miracles still survive
Oh don't they Vanya, Vanya
