Story Behind The Song
Got the idea from the Guns of Navarone movie, where the character played by Anthony Quinn, measures the distance to the top of a cliff in the amount of time it took to smoke 2 cigarettes.... this got me thinking about the time/space relationship

Lyrics
Just how far is Timbuktu, what colour is the rain?
Why through all of history, do the same people get all the pain?
And if all roads lead to Rome, how do the Romans ever get away?
Will you always feel for me, the way you feel today?
My body will surely grow weaker, how come my mind never gets old?
And why do I feel like I've found the stone to turn my leaden dreams to gold
What's a politician for? Don't ask him, he'll argue all night
why can't the prophet and the saviour see that both of them are right
'Cos God is just a blank colouring book, fill in the detail as we like, sometimes we stray over the line, and the curves turn into spikes
Not looking for any assurance, of eternal bliss
but will I always feel this ecstasy, every time we kiss
Unanswerable questions with no solutions yet
but I know how far to rainbow's end ...
It's about two cigarettes
