1974. An investment company has bought the apartment complex where I reside and are turning them into condos. Thirty day notice. The apartment mananger is busy removing the marijuana plants he's been cultivating in the planting strips between units. He's leaving the rhubarb. Folks are thrownig parties, and other stuff, in celebration of the loss of housing. I admit to partaking in some of the festivities. After a few requests to memorialize the event I, along with far too many beers wrote this ditty.
