Story Behind The Song

While in my career as a film and television director, I began taking composing and recording music seriously. My goal was to create an album and cd of original new age music. After shopping my finished master for "Reflections of Green" to all the major and indie labels, I decided to create my own label. This track "Islands" begins the soundscape of twelve songs that I have been told create creates a calm mood. I retired from the entertainment industry ten years ago. Now I spend most of my time in my studio with 5 synthesizers . I'm proud to have created and composed the song that began with a simple recording of a rainstorm, with guitar-samples and piano with strings all from a Ensoniq EPS 16 Plus keyboard. I love my Yamaha, Alesis QuadraSynth, Kawai K5000S, and Peavey DIgital 88 Key DPM. Electronic music as a genre is a huge world to explore. I think Islands sounds best with headphones. Enjoy !
