Story Behind The Song
Discovering that your lover was unfaithful is an emotional rollercoaster ride. Anger, depression, guilt, and anxiety fill the void that caved in once you discovered the truth about their betrayal. This song is inspired by the emotional turmoil I and millions of others have suffered as a result of disloyal lovers.
Song Description
A dramatic guitar and piano intro sets the mood for this emotional modern rock piece about discovering a lover?s infidelity. Over-driven guitars and a hip bass power through the opening chorus. A playful piano in the bridge carries the song into the verse and then back into the chorus. The instrumental interlude solos the Santana-esque guitar and the vibrant bass. The song then climaxes in the interlude with the guitars, bass, drums and vocals ascending in melody only to drop into a wailing distorted guitar solo ending. Very heavy indeed.

Lyrics
I thought that we were
Completely in love
And I thought that nothing
Could tear us apart
But now all I have
Is these two tears
Since the day you came
Into my life I wanted to make you mine
Every day the flame
Between us seemed to glow like sunshine
Things were perfect
Till I heard that
You threw it all away?
I thought that we were
Completely in love
And I thought that nothing
Could tear us apart
But now all I have
Is these two tears
Memories twisting me
I can?t forget the love that we made
Silly me, can?t believe
I though that what we had was for real
You deceived me
Left me bleeding
When I saw the two of you there
You will drown in all your lies
You know it, you feel it
I have cried my last two tears
I know it, I feel it
I just want to be alone?
