Story Behind The Song

I was out running this 7 mile route that I typically do once a week. I started thinking about all these reasons that running was like life with a start, middle, ending, ups, downs, excitement, struggles, pains, joys and pot holes. Even though it's sometimes painful, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to run. It motivated me to think a bit more deeply about my running and my life. When I hear this song, it reminds me that my life shouldn't be only about finishing.
