You would think it was a song about losing your lover and you are going to have to make it without them...but....We have all the heard of the little scenario of the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. Then there is you in the middle. You say I am going to write a book and the angel says yeah, that would be awesome, do it. Then the devil kicks in and says do it but mess it up, make it a dirty book or something but then you in the middle has created this self-image called the Doom Cryer and you listen to the devil and not the angel.
