Story Behind The Song

Our sax player, Jimmy Sax, is a punster and jokester of the highest order, and he came up with the chorus of this song (when there was no song). We started singing it while we went caroling, and people would start singing along, so we thought, hmmm, this is pretty catchy! So, Andy went about writing the verse music and Jimmy and Andy fleshed it out, and then Renee came in and added some more lyrics and arrangement ideas...and the rest is history!

This song is an exploration into the emotional turmoil that results from a group wanting to sing familiar Christmas songs while some boor imposes his will on the group and forces them to sing an obscure Christmas song. :-)
