Lyrics
Timothy Mouse
A mean grumpy old cat lived under the bed in the house
His favorite sport and pastime was chasing a little gray mouse
The mouse, his name was Timothy and he lived inside the wall
But the cat was always lurking so he rarely went out at all
Then one morning Timothy crept softly from his hole
He heard the old cat snoring so through the house he stole
Then suddenly t he cat lept out from underneath the sink
And captured little Timothy as quickly as a wink
Oh, poor Timothy, what?s a mouse to do?
Every time you venture out the cat comes after you
Now I have you laughed the cat, I wasn?t really sleeping
You?ll make for me a tasty snack that soon I will be eating
Yes, I?m caught said Timothy but isn?t it a shame
That I?ll no longer be here to play these silly games
Chorus
But then the cat freed Timothy for in his heart he knew
That life without a mouse to chase would never really do
And so the two lived happily chasing round the house
A mean grumpy old cat, and little Timothy Mouse
