Story Behind The Song
Drove past a cemetary with a very high fence once and wondered how it would feel to be accidently stuck in there for an entire night.
Song Description
Combined spoken words with sung choruses. Used a tuba in the bass, disjointed vocal chorus support, and slide guitar to add to the eerie feeling. Marimba keyboard sound with a percussion on a wooden box towards the end solidifies the production. It's surely a novelty song that would be great around Halloween.

Lyrics
Just a twist of fate one night
Stuck in a graveyard, locked up tight
Headstones glowed in the full moonlight
Sleeping with the dead just didn't seem right
When you find yourself where you don't belong
And everything that can does go wrong
And your mind plays tricks with your worldly views
Walking with the boneyard blues
Got there late cuz the plot was far
Locked my keys up in my car
All alone, the rest were gone
Ten more hours were left till dawn
When you find yourself where you don't belong
And everything that can does go wrong
And your mind plays tricks with your world views
Walking with the boneyard blues
Had a thought that the ghosts got down
Dancing all around on the manicured grounds
They didn't like that I was around
And I would've screamed
But couldn't find a sound
When you find yourself where you don't belong
And everything that can does go wrong
And your mind plays tricks with your worldly views
Walking in the boneyard blues
In the morning, down on my knees
They sent a man to retrieve my keys
In the light they sang in moans
And I could still hear them
Beating those bones
When you find yourself where you don't belong
And everything that can does go wrong
And your mind plays tricks with your worldly views
Walking with the boneyard blues
