Story Behind The Song
I remember it was a hot summer day when I made the beat blazing some herb with my uncle, and a couple nights later I wrote the lyrics alone in my little studio apartment (at that time). It was right before I was relocated to AZ, and recorded it shortly before the end of 2011.
Song Description
The metaphor of being a tumbleweed means to go through the dirt and grow from it. The beat is an intense banger that has tumbling tom tom breaks that the lyrics rhythm match toe to toe. Lots of change ups and breaks, very original style and delivery.
