Story Behind The Song

This song was a fun one to write. I remember I had been working a lot at this job I had running a shoe store, and I needed a break. So I called in and said nope. That night I decided to write a little journal on my lovely day off.

Song Description

A head nodding drum beat starts off before the bass and lyrics begin. This song tells the story of a mans day off from his job (that he hates by the way), except that day off was one of those that are called in because you don't feel like going in type of days. On one of the verses the lyrics tell the story in reverse to add a little more creative word play to the mix.
