Story Behind The Song

'Somehow' is a song that I wrote for a friend of mine who is fighting cancer and the odds are against her. It's a very sad situation. She is not religious but one day she told me that she can feel the power of my family's prayers for her. The amazing thing is that even though everything seems hopeless she feels there is still hope in the midst of the hopelessness. I had a strong feeling that I should write this song about my friend and the importance of hope.
