I've been wanting to write a protest song for a long time, since the first time ( u know what I'm talking about ) I just couldn't find the words. Also there's a fear of being next on his hit list because if a band ever actually recorded a song like this, they would be on the short list. Their lives will be investigated by the media, doxxed, who knows. No one wants the truth these days, everyone's hiding, everyone is afraid to speak out.

Chaos in government, ineptitude, corruption, persecution, inflation, saber rattling, culture wars, this nation is caving in upon itself and we don't know what is coming next.
