Story Behind The Song

Inspired by the Jack Nicholson character in TERMS OF ENDEARMENT as well as the Donald Sutherland character in SPACE COWBOYS, this tune tells a timeless tale. An "older" man talking to a "younger" woman in a bar, but with this twist. The man has been an astronaut and walked on the moon. And no matter which way the seduction goes, he has known something that she never can.
