Story Behind The Song
Got the idea after hearing the Canadian novelist Margaret Atwood being interviewed. She was asked repeatedly if she believed in God and finally said "God is like a radio - everyone has their favorite show that they tune into". Brilliant!
Song Description
Wrote this based on the idea that the human race has many languages, cultures, religions and belief systems - but they all come from the same source. The radio is a good analogy for this - people tune into their favorite shows or stations - but the source behind it is the same - the radio or carrier waves that carry all the different messages everywhere.

Lyrics
God Is A Radio
We're singing tonight to the songs that shoot straight from the stars
They fall all around you
Wherever you are
Up from the ground there's a sound round the world that's begun
The words may be different
But we're singing as one
God is a radio
It's got the music
God is a radio
Let's get down and move it
Gather around to the sound that you hear in your head
If you don't know the words
Then dance to the music instead
The frequency's steady the signal goes straight to your heart
Get your radio ready
Just tune in and start
God is a radio
It's got the music
God is a radio
Let's get down and move it
Dance brother
Dance sister
Sing a song of peace mister
Laugh don't you cry
Gonna be just fine
He with ya
She with ya
Everyone ya see with ya
The more things change
The more they stay the same
God is a radio
It's got the music
God is a radio
Let's get down and move it
