Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song when sometimes I feel that although I worked for more than 15 years in the music & entertainment business to reach my objective, sometimes, things just don't go the way you want them to go. However, thank God, this thought rarely crosses my mind because I'm usually very busy & tight with my schedules apart from the fact that although my great moment did not come, it doesn't mean it will never come :) When reviewing my song, I then gave it a more general concept so that it can relate to all types of troubled and worried people out there - not only ones who like me, might have suffered in pursuing their dream in the entertainment and music business, which mind you, is very competitive & tough. In fact, it could also relate to people who broke-up from a long relationship or someone who lost his job; someone who is afraid to risk or someone who has lost heart following a healthier diet and lose weight. My song was designed to help & encourage people not to feel like failures in life. If you did not manage to achieve something today, keep trying as you can easily achieve it tomorrow. Life's full of opportunities!

Song Description

If I Were You is a self-boosting song where it compares life to a game where there is either a big chance of failing or of winning. It just depends on how you look at it. Attitude, being optimistic, determination and believing in oneself are key factors that determine whether a person will be successful in life or not. Therefore, never look at the glass half empty but always look at it half full, learn the lesson, improve upon it and move on. Life's full of opportunities that are waiting for you!
