Lyrics
We didn?t know how to start or even where to begin
Then you said let?s go right now
And there?s no better place than right here
And I knew right then you were right
It?s so obvious
We had a rough ride, yeah it wasn?t too cool at the start
Be we didn?t believe in fate
We work hard and we love what we do
And maybe we made some mistakes
We were oblivious
You gotta be great to be good
You gotta be good to be great
You better be better than good
We won?t stand to be second rate
And you ? You?re Great
Everything we did was for fun
That?s how we got to be as good as we are
We weren?t full of ourselves
We just knew
We were fabulous
You gotta be great to be good
You gotta be good to be great
You better be better than good
Don?t settle for second rate
Yeah, you gotta be good to great
You better be better than good
Don?t wanna fall victim to fate
And you . . . you do what you love
You?re great . . . it so obvious
You gotta be great to be good
You gotta be good to be great
You better be better than good
Don?t wanna be second rate
You gotta be great to be good
You gotta be gear to be great
You better be better than good
Don?t wanna be second rate
You?re Great!
