She walks away in the starlight
with the snow on the ground she seems so bright
I light a candle and smoke all my fears away

I turn the music up a little louder
wonder what would i do if i found her
everybody knows me to be a little bit of a dreamer

i fumble for my emotions, throw my hands in the air
i don?t care about reasons it?s just not fair
i write a poem about my love affair
everything she?s taught me (she taught me everything), everything we?ve shared

i?m crystallizing all of my dreams
when i sleep i feel insane, don?t know my name and she remains to be surreal
i don?t want to ever lose the way that i feel if she?s real

every morning i wake up the same thing i go to work with a head full of crazy dreams take a run and i sweat off the night before brew another cup of decaf coffee
read the same bad news i read yesterday

take a shower and put the same clothes on again
it isn?t long before i?m feeling at my frayed wits end
turn the radio off shut my eyes and pretend

i read the poem about my love affair · i don?t remember or really care
all that i?ve done i?ve always wanted more · i?m opening up a very sacred door
