Not Running After You Decribes the fairy tales characters Jack and Jill as adults. Jack has cheated on Jill many times and now Jill is breaking up with Jack. This song has a lot of word play to it using diffrent things from different nursery rhymes. It talks about the house that jack built, the queen of hearts, and of coarse Jack and Jill. Jill has tumbled after Jack so many times she no longer knows what to do. So, she stands up and walks away.
