Story Behind The Song
This story was actually inspired by me when my Mom said I couldn't quit softball. I hated it, but she said no I had to see it through the season. It taught me a valuable lesson of seeing things through.

Lyrics
Verse 1
7-3, 6-12
My feet hurt like hell
At night I pray
It'll get better someday
I go to bed I can't sleep
What will tomorrow reep
Living up to the family name
Fills me with pride and pain
Chorus
(But) I can't give up, No I, I won't give in
In my family we don't quit
Baby it's in your name, We have no shame
My Momma said - one rule - We don't quit
Verse 2
Hot Days, Humid Nights
Working hours take up the fight
Overdue bills to pay
Won't fit it in in a day
Well I can't seem to get
Out of this deep pit
These dusty roads
Drivin wholes in my spirit
Chorus
Bridge
Workin hard everyday, Is the family's way
Be proud of who you are, quitting won't take you far
The town knows who I am, I'll be the best I can
