I was thinking back to the days of the civil rights era when Black people came together and worked to gether for the good of us all. Then I thought about the violent conditions of today and decided that only God can change the conditions of so many peoples hearts. So I wrote "Deliver Us" as a call to a higher power for intervention and change.

In this piece Stoneman perfoms all the lead and background vocals. It is a spiritual song that delves into the sounds of the day while displaying a musical foundation in the sounds of the past. It weaves in and out of R&B/Hip-Hop and then dips a bit into Doo Wop while giving a strong message about violence.
