Story Behind The Song
Originally thought of as part of a one-act play where each person is describing thier view of paradise, and everyone's vision is not the same. My song "No Paradise Without You" was a later song revision, changing the emphasis to more of a love song.
Song Description
Contemplation of how one's description of paradise changes when you get older.

Lyrics
There's no work today,
Time has lost its way,
Here upon this tropic island.
Making love with you,
?Neath a sky of blue,
Here upon this tropic island.
Is this all the paradise I see,
From a vision deep inside of me?
I'd be bored today,
If I had my way,
Always on some tropic island.
I love my working too,
And evening rendezvous?,
Here upon Manhattan island.
Is this all the paradise I see,
From a vision deep inside of me?
When I was a young child,
An island paradise I'd see,
Now that I'm a young man,
A broader vision pleases me.
But it's tough to change your childhood visions,
Rearrange them all,
Yes it's tough to change your childhood visions,
They so often call.
Give me both today,
Work and idle play,
When we're on our many islands.
Paradise for two,
Being me and you,
When we're on our many islands.
