Story Behind The Song

Originally appeared fully-formed during an hour-long improvisation. A mellow (post-apocalyptic) coda was removed to tighten the story. The title is a combination of "Ebola" (my nickname for the Evil Bolero improv approach) and "Metroid," after the Nintendo game whose theme seems to have influenced the bass line.
