Story Behind The Song

Clenched In Hell's Teeth was built around the last line of the chorus "there is only one failure for you and that is not to be true", a lyrical excerpt from a late 19th century commencement speech. The snarly guitar riff and pounding drums are meant to elicit the frenetic pace of life and the aging process that clenches down on each of us. The psychedelically inspired verses hammer at our struggles but are wrapped in the hopeful commencement message of the choruses.
