Story Behind The Song

This song was written by Renzo Rosso, an old scholar and amateur composer, in collaboration with Fabrizio Lentini. Children of a Lesser River is a duo consisting of myself and Fabrizio and other musicians who performed the song here. Our age prevents us from performing in public. The purpose of the current performance is to showcase our song to those who want to include it in their repertoire. Score and arrangement are available without charge in DAW format.

Song Description

This song deals with the New York lockdown during the Sars Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. And the associated hope for recovery. The first part is in A minor, and the (short) second part is in A major. The primacy of the economy over the health of citizens is highlighted. Fabrizio Brillante's violin performance is gratefully acknowledged.
