Story Behind The Song
A friend of mine is going through the trauma of how divorce has had an adverse effect on his daughter. His daughter is torn between both parents, and the father is fighting for visitation and custody for his daughter. There are no winners in this situation and all the father can do is tell his daughter that they will come through this event in their lives, and that love will prevail.

Lyrics
"Rebecca" Lyric by: Raymond Fry
Title by: Ulf Andersson
We have flown, on the wind together side by side
You and I, we've fallen from our rainbow sky
Since you've gone, I never stop believing
we'll spread our wings again
and we'll somehow make it through the rain
Here we are, dancing to the orchestra of dreams
Can't you see, love is never ever how it seems
Some-times find, It hard to understand you
They may say that love is blind
But there's one thing that I know you'll find
Rebecca, you can be sure
Together, we travel through white-water
Some day you'll understand
One thing will never change
The love between a father and his daughter
Caught between, the tapestry of truth and woven lies
Paralysed, by hello's and those sad goodbye's
When you cried, remember how I held you
Through all your dreaded fears
With the laughter that would dry your tears
Here we are, floating down the waterfall of life
You should know, love is never ever paradise
If you find, It hard to understand me
Just remember how I cry
Missing moments I'm not in your life
Rebecca, you can be sure
Together, we travel through white-water
Some day you'll understand
One thing will never change
Your in my heart forever
Rebecca, you can be sure
Together, we travel through white-water
Some day you'll understand
One thing will never change
The love between a father and his daughter
