Story Behind The Song
One day reflecting on life and how I lived it I sat down and made a few notes. My keyboard player was coming into town and I wanted to add one more song to our roster for future recordings and I finished the song...which I based on how I lived my life and to attack it with the same intensity as if you were getting revenge for something...and NOT in a negative way...just a super intense way!

Lyrics
Revenge for Life
I would smoke my weed and drink my wine watching the world go by
No cares in my mind to waste my time on some boring nine to five
Those the best of times when I would rock the girls who spun on poles
Draped by the flashing lights
Drive fast in my car no worthless laws could ever slow me down
Gin was my best friend the highest proof would always make me smile
Life was one big high lived days to play and chase away my clouds
This revenge for life before I die will mark my grave somehow
Float inside these dreams where social streams now track what life's about
Burn it at both ends, live like today is the time to check on out
If I could rewind I'd keep the play like it was cast in stone
This revenge for life before I die
will mark my grave somehow
will mark my grave somehow
will mark my grave somehow
