Story Behind The Song

First, let me say that I'm way too young to have a grandfather who fought in WWI. ;-) However, my grandfather used to sing an old marching song called Travelin' to us kids...said they sang it as a marching song during WWI. It definitely had a very old Folk sound to it and we grandkids thought it was so funny! Travelin' was inspired by Henry "Pop" Venable

Travelin' has a Folk/Bluegrass vibe to it with Banjo and a squeeze box goin on. It's happy, fun and well, it's downright inspirational! It's a "Life is all about the Journey" tune.
