Story Behind The Song
Watching movies and tv series, I often listen to the moody music they place as the opening credits, or throughout the shows. It had me thinking about writing something that might have a nice feel to a movie, and yet, have a meaning that could apply to anyone who hears it.
As a Christian, I know that Jesus taught us not to panic in the storms, and that He will calm the waters if we trust in Him.
Salt Into The Sea, is about us in our worries in the storm, but that He will calm the waters, take the salt from our tears, and put them back into the waters. He will bring us peace.
Song Description
Created for TV/Film, "Salt Into The Sea" is about finding peace in the storms. Moving, emotional, and uplifting. It has a dark feel, yet the chorus brings the light.
Repetetive and building, with all the feels for TV/Film series

Salt Into The Sea
Written by: PJ Bennett. Lyrics Music Melody
(Pamela Jean Bennett)
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
The storm is a raging
But my soul is at ease
I'll capture all your tear drops
And put the salt into the sea
(Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh)
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
I Can hear the Thunder
I can see the lightning strike
Don't think twice
Just run and hide
The storm is a raging
But my soul is at ease
I'll capture all your tear drops
And put the salt into the sea
(Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh)
