This is a really amazing father/daughter song. It's so...honest! It comes across as 100% authentic. I love the way the vocal is performed (and obviously expertly miked and recorded). The lyrics are simple and effectively written, the presentation childlike and yet daddy-like. I like the way the dad reveals his humanness and self-inadequacy (how can she elevate me so? I'm only human). The sun imagery is perfect. The guitar playing is beautiful. Mix perfect.
