Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song after having a conversation with my son who was going through a break up. I made the comment to him that "Love is hit or miss" - At the same time, my home state's women's college softball team was playing in the championships, so ball games were on my mind. Love and the game of ball converged. After reflecting on my own past relationships, it seemed to me that love is just a game. Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't. A couple of days later, I wrote this song with the intention of leading the listener away from sorrow and instead, enjoying the process.. and maybe even having some fun while they're at it.

Upbeat song about love but steers away from the typical heartbreak song and instead focuses on the idea that love is just game, not to be taken too seriously.
