Story Behind The Song
This song was written in the midst of a new romance in my life at an age where I thought maybe that could never happen again. It was my second track using banjo on an original song.
Song Description
"Candy for My Eyes" is a sweet engaging tune blending catchy banjo melodies with enchanting female vocals. The lyrics evoke a nostalgia, comparing the taste of honey to innocent memories. It captures the thrill of a budding romance, describing soft kisses and the overwhelming allure of newfound love. Lyrics
Flavor of honey on my tongue
Tastes like when I was young
Enchantment has begun
Think We're gonna have some fun
Full Soft kisses for my lips
Down the slope my heart slips
Mind is spun can't seem to grip
Guess its time for a new trip
What do I love
Only everything about you
I want your heart
I don't wanna live without you
This Sweet new love is sugar in my cup
When I look at you it sparks me up
I just look at you and Surprise
just like Candy for my eyes
My favorite number to dial
Wrapped in your magic smile
On our own emerald isle
Ima be here for awhile
There were times I Wasn't sure I'd ever see this kind of love again
Life was good but now its better than it was then
What do I love
Only everything about you
I want your heart
I don't wanna live without you
This Sweet new love is sugar in my cup
When I look at you it sparks me up
I just look at you and Surprise
just like Candy for my eyes
