I wanted to write a song about someone that missed the yearning feeling that he got when away from his love
Song Description
This is a song that makes me smile every time I hear it as it is about a man who loves returning home to a love that he has been missing. However, as soon as he is home it is not long before he is missing that yearning feeling he has when he is away so he has to leave to then miss his love so much that he has to hurry home again and so that cycle of of wanting, having again and wanting to want again. Daft but it made sense to me at the time and I love the melody that we composed
