Beautiful intro, love the minor chord progressions with a lift into a lighter feeling chorus. A nice Mexican/Spanish Americana Rock/Country mix, love the sounds effects. Vocals reminiscent of Dire Straits( one of my favorites) Lovely guitar solos, just all around quality.

instrumentation is awesome

Even in this simplistic form, the song has something interesting. Still, it needs some work to make it easier to listen too. Please don't underestimate the importance of the comping.
