Lyrics
Headlines fill our heads up with disaster
I don't know how anybody sleeps
Were so afraid to lean on each other
When love is all anybody needs
I'm not taking no for an answer
I know you would do the same for me
When house is too cold, rooms are too dark
Let me help you back on your feet
It's alright,
You don't have to keep on fighting
Make your way through the lightening and the thunder of these days
We'll get by
Even if it takes some time
Darling, I'll be by your side
trade the darkness for some light
stay with me tonight
You won't ever to let yourself unravel,
you're quick to brush emotions off your sleeve
You carry your cards so close to your chest
don't you know, I'm playing on your team
I know you are strong and you are able
But you don't have to carry all the weight
Let me give you shoulder to lean on
When your knees start to shake
It's alright,
You don't have to keep on fighting
Make your way through the lightening and the thunder of these days
We'll get by
Even if it takes some time
Darling, I'll be by your side
trade the darkness for some light
stay with me tonight
