Story Behind The Song
I was watching a fireman teaching children some of the principles of fire safety. "Stop, Drop, and Roll" hit me immediately as a "cool" depiction of a torrid love affair.
Song Description
Since Adam and Eve, men have pursued women - had the "hots" for them. It doesn't get any hotter than this.

Lyrics
STOP, DROP, AND ROLL (A TORCH SONG)
All the days are short, and the nights are cold;
We all need support, the right one to hold.
Come on over here, I’ll tell you a tale.
There’s nothing to fear, no Jonah and the whale.
Ooh, ooh! You’re on fire!
Now, I’m on fire too.
Ooh, ooh! Let me stop,
Stop, drop, and roll with you,
Stop, drop, and roll with you.
There once was a girl, and there was a man,
They both found a pearl, and their tale began.
I’m looking at you, I see my treasure.
Everything you do just brings me pleasure.
Ooh, ooh! You’re on fire!
Now, I’m on fire too.
Ooh, ooh! Let me stop,
Stop, drop, and roll with you,
Stop, drop, and roll with you.
They say swords of flame still guard the garden,
But we’re not to blame for what we’re startin’.
If life is a game, come on, let’s play house;
You be the mousetrap, and I’ll be the mouse.
Ooh, ooh! You’re on fire!
Now, I’m on fire too.
Ooh, ooh! Let me stop,
Stop, drop, and roll with you,
Stop, drop, and roll with you.
(REPEAT CHORUS)
