"I Want This" is a good full orchestra mock-up / demo that I think helps showcase the arrangement and orchestration versatility of Kevin's musical abilities. This song has a good foundation / main theme to it and I feel with a little more work, could really be an excellent piece that might be considered for film or TV score type of sync placements.
It reminds me of an intro to a dramatic TV show or documentary! Very well done, especially conveying the intense mood I think you were going for. I love the momentum the spiccato strings and percussion set up from the start, and the brass just adds a layer of cinematic magic to the mix. I love it!
This lures the listener in immediately. A very nice job of giving this piece the feel it required.
There are certainly a lot of pitches for this type of instrumental...this is a great pitch to video games, commercials and as background music for movies and television shows. I would not be surprised to hear this on a cable tv show or major network show in the near future. The prevailing theme was very well constructed and the lower instrumentation supported a feeling of action and impending war or destruction approaching...very strong arrangement
